About Movement Christian Church

Movement Christian Church is a non-denominational church in Merrimack, NH. We started in 2017 to help people move closer to Jesus and closer to each other, and today people join us on Sundays from all over southern New Hampshire. Spiritual growth is a journey, not a destination. Through Bible-based teaching, small groups, and serving our community together, we help each other become more like Jesus one step at a time. We celebrate progress, not perfection. At Movement, we believe EVERY move matters!

We Value the Weekend Experience

We gather at 27 Depot Street in Merrimack every Sunday at 9:00 and 10:30 am. Expect worship music, prayer, and a message from the Bible that connects to everyday life. Come as you are. We'd love for you to join us!


We Value the Next Generation

The Next Generation of Movers includes every kid and student from birth through high school graduation. KidMOVERS and baby care run during both Sunday morning services, and StudentMOVERS (6th–12th grade) meets Sunday evenings from 6–8 pm.


We Value Small Group Environment

MOVINGroups are our small groups, where friendships form, community is found, and people can be fully known and deeply loved. Groups meet in homes throughout the week all over the 603, and online too.


We Value Loving Our Neighbors

The dream of our team is for the love of Jesus to grow hands and feet and move into the 603 and beyond. LOVE603 is that dream realized. Every month we get out and serve our community, and every June, 603 Day sends teams all over southern New Hampshire.

Our Beliefs

Movement is a non-denominational Christian church. We aren't part of a denomination, but we hold firmly to what the Bible teaches. We invite you to explore our beliefs and join us in living out our faith with boldness and passion.

  • Jesus is Savior

    Jesus Christ is the only Son of God, who died for our sins, rose from the dead and is the Savior of the world. (1 Corinthians 15:1-8, John 3:16, John 14:6)


    Forgiveness of sins and the promise of eternal life are available to all who trust Christ as Savior and Lord. (John 3:16)

  • Sin

    Every person has worth as a creation of God, but all have sinned. (Romans 3:23, Isaiah 53:6)

  • The Bible

    We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:20-21)

  • Baptism

    Those accepting Jesus Christ should repent of sin, confess their faith in Jesus, and be baptized by immersion into Christ. (Romans 10:9, Romans 6:1-7, Acts 2:38, Acts 3:19).

  • One God

    We believe in one God who exists and reveals Himself in three distinct ways: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 3:16, John 14:9-10)

  • Communion

    We believe in celebrating communion as it represents what Jesus accomplished on the cross. (1 Corinthians 11:23-26)
